Proud Moment for DISEV

We are delighted to announce that Arisha Sadiya, Class VI, Daffodil International School (English Version), has been selected as one of the Top 60 Winners among 2,500 participants from across the country  in the Sticker & Poster Design Competition 2026, organized by Prothom Alo Trust on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse. Her creative talent and powerful artwork earned her a place among the national winners of this prestigious competition. The Award Giving Ceremony will be held on 27 August 2026 in Dhaka, where distinguished personalities will present the awards. Congratulations, Arisha! Your creativity, dedication, and remarkable achievement have made us incredibly proud. Keep shining and inspiring others with your talent!

Our students recently took part in a powerful lesson in democracy as they voted for their class prefects for the 2025-2026 session. This election was a fantastic example of student empowerment and the power of their voice. We're so proud to see them learn about civic engagement and think critically about the qualities of a great leader. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a globally recognized program that challenges and empowers young people to develop skills, build resilience, and create positive change in their communities. Through a series of self-improvement activities, students can earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award by participating in projects focused on volunteering, physical recreation, skills, and adventurous journeys. Our students listened with great interest and left the session inspired by the diverse projects and missions they can undertake.  They are excited to embark on this journey of self-discovery and to explore new passions, develop new skills, and make a real difference in the world around them. We can't wait to see what incredible things our students will achieve as they begin their Duke of Edinburgh's Award adventure!

Today, Daffodil International School, Dhanmondi Branch hosted an engaging online session on studying abroad and scholarship opportunities in various universities across the USA. ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The session was organized by The Ed Tech Company (Admission.ac) in collaboration with DIS, specially designed for our Upper Secondary students. ๐Ÿ’ก Admission.ac is dedicated to providing comprehensive guidance and support to students aspiring to pursue their undergraduate and higher studies abroad connecting students with the Universities Worldwide.  We are proud to connect our students with such valuable resources that help them dream big and achieve greater heights! ๐Ÿš€

What an absolutely wonderful start to our academic session 2025-26 at Dhanmondi Branch!
